Jimmy Barnes is back to rock The Loch at Berrima with an Up Close & Personal performance like you’ve never experienced before!
The heart and soul of Aussie Rock, Barnesy calls Berrima home and this will be his 2nd year at neighbouring small farm, The Loch, for an intimate, family performance.
The vibe is akin to popping round to the neighbour’s place for a backyard bash. Only the atmosphere turns electric once Aussie rock royalty takes to the stage to belt out his iconic hits.
Up Close & Personal is a family affair, with Jimmy’s daughters Elly-May and Mahalia along with wife Jane, bringing the harmony as backing singers. Son Jackie is on drums, son in law Ben Rodgers on the guitar and Clayton Doley on keys. The venue and vibe make this an entirely unique experience for a fortunate few – first seen at The Loch in 2018 and back with a vengeance by popular demand this December 15.
“More than a rock legend to locals, Barnsey and his whole family have become a much-loved part of the community here in Berrima,” says Brigid Kennedy of The Loch Farm. “That’s what makes the experience so special. For us, it really is like getting the neighbours round for a drink and a few laughs – and you’re all invited!”
This time around The Loch has done away with table seating, in favour of sumptuous Hampton Lounge chairs, to bring concert-goers even closer to the stage. “We want people to feel chillaxed and more connected with what is genuinely an Up Close & Personal performance,” Brigid says. All seating is numbered and designated with ticketing.
The Loch gates open at 4 pm and your ticket includes a complimentary drink on arrival. Enjoy the Up Close & Personal performance from 5:30 pm and wine and dine throughout the evening, at your leisure. Locally crafted beers and wines from nearby vineyards can be purchased from on-site bar stations along with soft drinks, water and cocktail selection. Catering stations range serve a variety of delicious food, from dumplings and duck pancakes to tasting plates or carvery with salads. Vouchers are purchased from the cashier and redeemed at your stall of choice.
A maximum of just 280 tickets are available.
The ticket price includes the concert and a complimentary drink on arrival and free parking is offered on-site.
A first release of tickets has been made available to customers of The Loch who attended the previous Up Close & Personal concert, so available tickets will be in demand once they go on sale to the public on October 30.
